From a Norwich perspective, I think Burnley will have the harder time if relegated. A big loan to repay, plenty of players out of contract, and a weakened club structure (with no manager).
I have a soft spot for Leeds they have had abysmal luck over the years and Burnley have had a few seasons at the top without bringing much excitement. Leeds were really good at the start of the season and only choked recently. So I would rather Burnley go down partly for the reasons @DH gave
Pinkun think that Krul is starting as this could be a farewell from him. He is keen to try to make the World Cup squad and not sure he can do that playing in the Championship
I wonder whether Sorensen will actually play in a back 3. It will be good to finally see Sorensen and Normann as the midfield pairing, which I’ve been asking for from early in the season
Have Gilmour and Williams returned to parent clubs already? Good to see Sorensen get a deserved start. Oh well, let’s hope that we don’t get stuffed as Spurs need this win more than we do.
And the board and Webber have basically done what Johnson has done over Partygate - dig their heels in, refuse to engage in any kind of meaningful conversation, wait for the storm to ride itself out, and let the whole thing blow over. The sad thing is, if you're brazen enough, it works.
Gilmour picked up a knock and returned to Chelsea for treatment, not sure about Williams. Maybe just no point putting him in the firing line for another confrontation with fans given he's off.
Interesting to play Normann. I know he’s being released, but there’s no sense is paying for him anyway as it just be sanctioned, so maybe it suggests we might try to get him back if he is interested. Seems unlikely but it’s not like he’s marketed himself as a PL player.
Please forgive me but I will be watching Man City today. I will keep an eye on what City is doing until it gets too depressing
Agreed. And I couldn't bear it if they got the quadruple. Having said that, I think Man City are much flakier. They could stroll it 5-0 or bottle it.
