    Would it be morally acceptable to have played for Sunderland last year, scored both the goals they scored against us, and then use half of the £10m you get to buy Pieters for us?

    Play well , make them love you like they loved Bent , make sure they get your name printed on tens of thousands of replica shirts then break their hearts , sign for Newcastle and score on your return to the SoS.

    Look at the money Rooney and Tevez make and still wanted more. Being honest, if I thought I wasn't being paid my worth as a professional footballer then I'd move on, I'm a bit shallow and wouldn't want to burn my bridges with fans so would likely look to move abroad.

    No AB I don't think for one minute they consider the fans, the apologists for the vast amounts of money that we pay footballers will say they have short careers, well sorry but they have agents and advisors, and if they want a career in public life, ie media broadcasting, coaching then they can't really afford to "p" people off. It goes beyond making money, some people become addicted to celebrity, the Beckhams being a prime example, they've plenty money, they still court publicity, Paul Scholes on the other hand..........

    In all seriousness if I could play professional football but only for the mackems I would definately take it. It's my dream job, not too badly paid either. Plus there are teams I hate more than Sunderland - Blackburn, Liverpool and Man U. However if I was to play agsinst Newcastle I would find it difficult to actually try my best.

    Yup. Genuinely do. I've never felt the need to hate the mackems too much because we usually beat them. I like to laugh at them, but I don't actually hate them that much. If the tables did turn and the mackems did win more derbies I'd probably hate them more. Also it might be slightly down to the fact I'm not actually from the area of Newcastle so maybe haven't developed much 'hate' for the unwashed.

    Blackburn on the other hand - **** fans, **** manager, **** ground, **** style of play, always beat us. Completely pointless and annoying club. I think Liverpool and Man U go without saying lol.

    Sounds good although then I won't be able to change it for 3 weeks.

    I'll do it if we beat Stoke on Halloween :D

    Me neither , but the fact that they hate us so much , makes me hate them back haha! The banter between us is brilliant though.

    I dislike Blackburn but don't really hate them as much as I hate the mackems , Man United , Stoke and the bindippers.
