My love of bikes pretty much starts and ends with bikes from the 60's and early 70's, particularly MV Augusta's (nothing but the best for Brian on the bike front). Unfortunately, I can't afford a 750, so I go for 350's. They are really ****ing rare - about half a dozen sell each year in the whole of Europe. I'd love a 350 street scrambler but there are only a couple of hundred in existence worldwide and now cost about £15k, so that's a no-no...more's the pity.
So are you changing your name to " thanks for that Ago " , I'm with you on MVs , a real rarity and beautiful to look at and can only dream of riding one , a neighbour fof my uncles was from Italian heritage but a British greaser ,he had only Italian bikes and any time we went to see Dads brother I made a b line to see what the lad had MVs Ducati Laverda's all graced his garage , the only non Italian bike I ever saw him with was a Honda RC30 but it was gone in weeks for the latest Ducati ( in red of course)
I'm optimistic too mate. Got full confidence we will get the job done today, as with Spurs getting that early goal is pivotal especially as Norwich may not be too adventurous today and get most behind the ball. Safe travels and sing your heart out for the boys. COYS
I like British bikes of that era but show me an MV 750, Moto Guzzi, Laverda, Ducati Desmo, Benelli 6 and Mrs B just says ...."No ****ing way". I'd have them in the house....and she knows it. I love Ago and Phil Read ...and Franco Bonera

Canary here. Always had a soft spot for Spurs First game I saw live was WBA v Spurs in your Double season. Early 60's. Best of luck today. We have been awful all season, so if you can't beat us, what can I say
I couldn't ride that anymore. I'm too old and too inflexible. These days, it's this... please log in to view this image Which is the bike I'm looking to buy. The seat's a mess but apart from that, it's almost as beautiful as Mrs B.
My old man had one until he traded it for one of these, around the time that we beat Chelsea in '67... please log in to view this image
It was like tribes, Triumph, Norton, BSA. each one claiming to be best Velocettes purred by nose in the air ignoring the 'mob' I was a Triumph man but by the time I had the money to buy one I opted for a car because it had a back seat.
The BSA went in '73, to be replaced by a Triumph Trident, Norton Commando, Kawasaki 900 Z1...etc., etc. In his 60's he was riding a Honda Blackbird, like he was still 17...I wonder why I never grew up...?
Did you ever read this Brian. please log in to view this image He did it again in his 70's I think he was a near neighbour of mine in Sussex.
Yes, a while ago. I've got a few rides that I want to do myself. This is currently top of the list... but I'd prefer not to do it on my own.
The BBC appear to be predicting a very different match to the rest of us please log in to view this image
