I once got caned by the headmaster for getting too many lines in the first 2 weeks of a term....

I am still to this day the most punished child at that school.....

 

Why doesn't that surprise me

 

Caning and that sort of stuff was well and truly over by the time I was at school.

But board rubbers and in particular rulers across the knuckles were still par for the course.

Mr Lloyd (full on welsh accent) in metalwork would look out for anyone who had their hand on the bench... and with a metal ruler crack the back of the fingers with the long edge of the ruler.

Imagine doing that today you'd be arrested and career over.

Kendrik lamar isn't someone you can just pick up tbf took me a while to "get it" but the man's a real poet and although some of his tunes I can't stomach some are actually genius.

Prefer J Cole out of that generation personally
