Wouldn't be surprised mate, every manager seems to like him. However you rate his ability there's no denying he gives it everything he's got, he had a bit of a dodgy patch a year or two ago but it didn't last long and that's about it in ten years.

I don't even know what his best position is anymore, maybe his future is RB/RWB, but yeah definitely get him signed up if he's out of contract soon. He can do it in the championship no problem.

Looking at that I think he knows his time might be up. Feel sorry for the lad after working so hard to help us out of the dogshit league.

Massive thanks to everyone who made my day, bought me drinks and appreciated my efforts sorting the pub, the tickets, etc.

I had an absolutely amazing day with Sid, RTB, Mike, Malaga, Rhino, Paul, Bank of England, Davey, Norton Cat, Chunks, Spitfire, Wakey, Cris, Kev, Nick, Sheff, Grumpy, etc etc etc.

Thank you everyone, it's what being a Sunderland supporter is all about.

    Thanks and God bless.

There were gaps all over there sections, but I'd not be surprised if they did sell 23k tickets, but less actually attended and the attendance was actually the number of tickets sold not people through the turnstiles. Maybe a few supporters of other clubs got tickets in their end, but we're "pursuaded" from attending???

Just back in the house and poured my first alcoholic drink of the day. I have never experienced an atmosphere like that in my life, it was incredible.

Still not home. My Dad was 4 rows from the back in the top tier. He is not the most mobile and moves very slowly now so it took a while to get back to the car. Taken it easy driving home too. Be back in about 15 minutes then bed. At work at 8:00 tomorrow answering the phone for 111!! If anyone calls 111 tomorrow and gets someone answering the phone with a very hoarse voice, you know why. Never sang so much at a game. My son’s first time at Wembley. He says he’s a United fan, but he loves the lads. Love him to bits

For a variety of reasons, mainly work, travel and playing football, that was my first visit to Wembley, what an experience it was. What's this Wembley curse I have heard about :emoticon-0105-wink:
