seen one 'players ratings' so far that had onien at a 9, have to say i thought he was a bit of a passenger first half but came into his own as the 2nd half wore on, getting those tackles in and throwing his body in...just needs to work on losing his accent now and becoming a full mackem :d

Really proud of the players, under this manager, how they stood up to their long ball, won everything. On a side note, all those that would've had ainsworth worth. Have a word.

I’m going to be possibly controversial here. I honestly think that’s the best I’ve ever felt after a game. And I include the mags wins in that. The euphoria was unbelievable. Can’t wait for next season now

Think the players we already have will suit the championship more than league one.

It's certainly up there but doesn't reach the heights of being at the 73 final.
Having said that I couldn't be there today so I'm not really comparing like with like.

    quick mention...VAR.

can anyone explain how the game flowed along nicely without the (now common) breaks in play we see in the premier?

could it be the lack of players diving for every slight touch, could it be the ref handled the game very well or could it be that is how VAR should be used...in the background to have a quick check rather than several camera angles and rewinds looking for a 'possible foul in the build up to the goal' when it goes against one of the top six?

i honestly think if the roberts penalty had been given, no one could have complained, stewart basically made no attempt for the ball and just threw himself into roberts, other than that i thought the ref did a good job.

Don’t you hate how PR polished players are on social media :D

I apologise to him. Said other day I was on the fence about him getting new contract if we go up. How can anybody be on the fence about him? Sign him up.

Funny thing for me Marcus is that before the semis against Sheff Wed I felt like today we were meant to come out on top and expected us to win.
Last time I honestly felt like that before a really big game was for the 73 cup final when I just knew we were going to win.
Not saying I wasn't nervous but it was a different kind of nerves if any of that makes any sense. ( it's the drink).

Not been back long from the match. Well done lads. Wishing you all the best in the Championship. Well deserved after the hell you have been through. If Vokesy had put away the main chance we had when one on one with the goalie, that could have been a real nail biter. We had to throw everything into attack as no good losing 1-0. It was a good gamble but didn't come off. Had some nice chats with some Sunderland supporters. One of them is building Wycombe's new training ground <laugh>. Great atmosphere your fans create. ****ing brilliant. I'll be watching out for you next season <cheers><bubbly><bubbly><bubbly><cracker><cracker><cracker>
