Joffy totally mismanaged by Bielsa. He's the closest thing we have to a replacement for Bamford, and he plays 300 minutes in 26 games, even with all the injuries we've had.
Everton deserve to pay the price of cheating but wont. Villa and Derby cheated the season before we were promoted. Villa got away with it because they got promoted. Derby only just paid the price 2 years later. Boro and MK Dons cheated and took out private prosecutions against Mel Morris. Boro should have been in the playoffs and MKD should have been promoted from L1. This shyt happens every season and they get away with it
We all know it won't be quick. It's not really on is it? We were royally ****ed over for overspending. Everton can do what they want, buy their way out of trouble but that's fine. There really is no point in FFP.
Everton will probably get punished next season like Derby did. The problem is you can’t be punished until proven guilty. Everton can drag this out to make sure it goes past the fixture announcements and although wrong, we would do the same. Why didn’t we bring this up in January when Everton were splashing out? I agree Everton are in the wrong but until accounts aren’t submitted then there really can’t be an enquiry The worse thing about it all is it’s going to stink like sour grapes to everyone but Burnley and Leeds fans. Shame we can’t legally agree to not play todays fixture until the inquiry has taken place
Just think we need to see a lot more of Cresswell before we can be sure of anything. One start against West Ham plus 4 subs appearances totalling 48 mins in the PL and one game in the Caraboa Cup against Fulham. That's it as far as first team action goes. Definitely has promise but at what level he'll end up playing is still to be decided. So whilst I'm as hopeful as everyone else that he turns out to be top draw it's also necessary to be realistic and see how he progresses next season.
