I don’t see how people are still disagreeing. People have been shafted by being forced to move. Plain and simple, whether it was always going to happen or not people who were happy in E1/2 can feel rightly unhappy.

This however perfectly sums up the price changes.

I can understand people being annoyed about the seat changes as it will be the third time for some people. The people moaning about an extra £5 per month for seats close to the half-way line are just moaning for the sake of it and it’s boring.

I don’t think it’s about money, it’s about getting more fans in the stadium. I think the aim is to get the young loud fans into the cheaper seats behind the goals and the families into the slightly more expensive east stand seats however they’re now able to bring the kids for free so overall it ends up cheaper. It’s a win win all around really.

    win win my arse
have you actually been to football near younger fans recently? most of them are too busy checking their phones to sustain any singing!
I don't fit into either category. I'm not young but want to stand and sing, and don't want to take kids with me either...doesn't feel like I'm winning

Okay maybe not young but you know what I mean, the type of fan that a family with children under 10 probably don’t want to be sat behind

You mean the ones that are in E1/2/3 now and creating a decent atmosphere who were previously moved to North to supposedly make it better but ended up being moved back when the club realised it didn’t and most people voted to move back to where they are now?
    Those ones?…

Thing is though Den I think you are over estimating the atmosphere in E1-E3 , it was noisy against Blackburn and then for the goal against Forest bit the rest of it has been same as always maybe it seems louder when your in it , but it’s not really …. The reason when we all debate good gone atmospheres since stadium opened 20 years ago, we all generally name the same 10 games … and that’s not a criticism of those fans , at least they are trying unlike the rest of us , but I think Acun has seen that and he’s trying to make it somehow so the atmosphere extends and gets better . Rightly or wrongly , but it’s not like we are moving a cauldron of noise , our home atmosphere is ****e on the whole regardless

Most home atmospheres are ****e aren't they? That's why away supporters sing the library song etc. I thought Coventry supporters made a fair bit of noise for what appeared to be a smallish number at their place. Mind you, there was a drum involved if I remember correctly. Maybe that is the answer. All even seat numbers on alternate rows have to bang a drum (donated by the club) and it would leave us in the odd numbered seats to watch the game in relative peace.

I don’t completely disagree, and as I said I think he’s doing it for the right reasons. I just think he’s wrong. TWT but it didn’t work last time it was tried.
What is a fact is the loudest fans, even if we aren’t great, are being split up from the fans that are the most likely to join in when the atmosphere does get good. I’d have thought that was worth extending instead by shoving the away fans over as much as possible and giving space for others to join the same connected group of fans, instead of splitting us up and allowing away fans, who by and large tend to be louder in general that their home fans, into the middle of us.
