I've been saying that for months. Don't even need a reason. Just subtract some points from them already... Man City too!
I've amazed myself in that I don't have much of an opinion on this one. Viera in the news twice in one week over two controversial issues. The first one, publically reprimanded his player for supporting his national teammate, I don't know whether he was right or wrong to do that. The second one, lashing out at an opposition fan. Again, I can't decide if he was right or wrong in doing that. Like Saint said, he shouldn't have been in a position where that was even a possibility. I would have thought that following a pitch invasion, the away team and bench would retreat post-haste to avoid getting entangled in it. Sometimes when you try and set yourself up as a kind of moral arbiter, the universe conspires to test that out. I'd like to see the fan involved, identified and banned and Viera maybe get a warning?

Leeds and Burnley written to PL to look into whether Everton have broken ffp 370m losses over last 3 years. clubs can make a loss of 105m over 3 years. everton say £170m was caused by pandemic. so if my simple maths is right, they lost 200m non covid related so have therefore broken ffp by 200%?
they broke ffp and did a "deal" with the PL authorities who oversee their spending but didn't penalise them . The logic behind this is beyond me apart from their is no appetite to actually enforce their own rules . PS their suggested covid losses are simply laughable as it is far more than clubs like ours who were clearly far more affected in revenue terms
Massive points deductions which is why they are looking sheepish in the fa. If the last relegated club sues it could become a.massive case and make wagatha look like a bunch of old z list celebrities arguing over nothing.
Shades of Sheff Utd claiming West Ham cheated with Tevez & Mascherano. Everton are doomed either way here though whereas West Ham got away with it
