Peddling the lie? Bury your head in the sand all you want!!!! I'm including JKA and Costa, as their fee's became payable during our Championship winning season. That's 35m for a start!!! What about 3m for Barry Douglas? The ****e we spent on loan players runs into multi-millions! Apart from Raphinha, has Bielsa actually made a successful signing? Before you say Jack Harrison £11m + 3m x 3 seasons = £20m NOT a bargain
TBH I see the point of FFP when the likes of Newcastle are able to spend £500 million let's say on players but only bring in £10 million in revenue. Totally agree with you on the Chelsea point.
Yeah, you're right. We don't deserve to be that low with you lot but it is what it is. We've thrown away alot of good work this season by cutting corners. You can't stand still at any level let alone the very top. 6 points for you guys though next season. I'm chuffed for you.
Number of Leeds players with less than 150 minutes - 11 I thought it was a great post though, and well thought out. Shame we've had to put so many square pegs into round holes this season.
Afternoon all. I think the fat lady is putting her lippy on. I thought Bielsa was a brilliant coach. It was so refreshing to watch a Coach actually improve players. He had his flaws, he suffered OCD, which was a positive but also a huge negative. In a less competitive league his way of playing was exhilarating but the PL is too good for you to even survive with just a system. You need quality. We’ve had more problems than just injuries this season. Teams worked out how to play us and that is why we’ve struggled against the better sides. They have quality to do what it takes to beat us. The lower PL teams find it much more difficult Bielsa was absolutely right. He didn’t need a plan B for two reasons, if plan B was so good why was he using plan A and he had hard wired plan A into his players. I think this as caused JM problems because he’s got to unbrainwash the players. I wasn’t surprised that we improved when Raph and Harrison pulled wider against Brighton. It was what they were used to. I think my first real doubts about MB were while watching us get battered by Liverpool. It was like a training game for them, they could have scored 10. When MB said, after the Spurs game, that he had tried a more defensive formation in the first half, when we conceded 3, but reverted in the 2nd half I knew his time was up. He was out of ideas. Remember that in the whole time he was in charge we were extremely rarely composed in the final third. It was a consistent gripe of his that we didn’t convert enough of the chances we created so there were deep rooted problems. My fear going forward is that we don’t create those chances under JM. I hope we at least put up a fight on Sunday. Brentford won’t rest players like Villa and Palace did because we’re destined to be ****ed over by everyone this season.
