Bollocks The stadium could be changed to put them in NW corner I’m quite sure. Maybe not cheaply but it could be. If it can’t be (and I don’t believe that) then it should have been left well alone. We’ll see if it’s the best long term move I guess…so as soon as you spot a game with a better atmosphere than our best atmosphere with all the singing fans together in East then let me know so I can explain why you’re wrong.
I’ve always preferred the view from behind the goal , I hate sitting down the side so it always makes me laugh those seats are considered premium .. happy to be in the cheap seats. One thing about the free kids though is I know loads of people who either have a child seat next to them or considered paying 3 quid for a child seat, just for legroom …. Have to be careful too many people don’t do it now or be capacity crowds with nobody in
Why should the NW people be moved if you don't want to be? As I said....change just as long as it doesn't effect you. As for better atmosphere, I'd say the first season in the prem if I remember correctly ( if I'm wrong then my apologies ) when our fans where in the north behind the goal was always a better atmosphere then the poor one we have now
To be fair I didn’t explain myself on NW corner, although I have mentioned my views before. I’m not saying around the corner, I think they should be squeezed as small as possible into that corner that’s all. As for moving any home fans. I don’t think we should, but if he was really wanting to make the atmosphere better then I believe moving someone from NW rather than someone who has been moved twice before would be more productive. But I don’t think that should be done. To suggest the first season in the Prem was better than some of the promotion matches is frankly laughable
Happy to just stay in the bar if it helps Seriously though it was a cracking day out with some great people. Might be difficult to top, but I’d be happy to do it again in Filey’s memory
35 quid a month seems like great value so ticketing prices still seem quite good. Agree with Dennis on moving East yet again seems a strange and rushed decision, and skeptical about what consultation has taken place.
Me too, atmosphere has been at its best for a while, Forest was brilliant. now it’s going to be split up. Not a fan of the split up, but am a fam of the commitment to young fans who’ve been neglected for the last few years it’s all valid. Who’d have thought a year ago we’d have kids in for free eh? Shame about the movement though
There’s loads of good stuff he’s done, and there’s loads of good stuff in this announcement Just a shame he’s also recycled an Allam plan, which was proven to be a bit ****
When E1/2 is booming it gets the whole stand going, I used to sit in the north and I can’t rememeber the whole stadium getting behind them the same way East stand has been second half of the season. Hope with this new found hope in the form of Acun it doesn’t affect it too much but have a feeling it will. On twitter it seems to be a popular move to the north whereas on here it’s mixed but that’s what football is all about at the end of the day. Cant make a big decision like that and keep everyone happy at the end of the day. We’ll all still be there as much as we can though
I sit in W6 have done all my life. Your not moving me Tan man. I survived the Allams so don’t you dare.
I think away fans being sandwiched between two stands of loud home fans makes sense, especially if it means home fans behind the goal.
