I'm not a fan of our national anthem or the royals, but I would never boo either. It's ok to disagree with the anthem and the idea of inherited privilege, but I think we need to recognise that lots of people still hold on to it and have every right to do so. I do wish they would change it though. It's a horrendous tune and the words are awful.
It’s interesting that fans who cry when any away fans dare make a noise during a minutes silence to memorialise a footballer, fans, public figure etc… then pipe up with similarly offensive noise during a national anthem and think that form of offense is any different…. The lack of consistency is hilarious from the toxteth tramps…. it’ll not be their fault though…
