I can completely understand how you feel. Having started watching Formula 1 in 2003 I instantly supported Jenson and by the end of 07 I really started to get frustrated at him, BAR/Honda and countless other people but I never would have thought in 09 he would get the title. I stuck on and held my head up high when my Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso mates laughed at me at the start of every year when I said 'You wait and see Jenson will win the title this year!' and I finally got what I wanted, just hang on in there Manny even though you probably know in your heart of heart Michael won't win another title, but the feeling and media press of him winning another 2,3 GP's or getting on the podium(Which I think is possible) will be great I presume. Hang on in there, keep believing in MSC and get back to your usual self who supports Michael in every corner no matter what he has done!
Exact same situation Jarel, you are right. He has shown he can still cut it when in extreme conditions, he drove well in Monza and his physical fitness is 100%. Rosberg is also feeling the brunt of driving the -w02, but his results underline the progress of the team more then Michael's results. Mechanical issues are also to blame for the poor showings in 2010 and 2011, at times I think the team is a clown club. But I have realised that progress is tough.. Whatever happens, I hope the future of Mercedes - Michael and Nico is very bright, but because Michael is at a lower points tally compared to Nico - the work done behind the scenes in the garage goes amiss - even I miss this sometimes just as today. Michael's seat may be in danger I can see, but it's what happens in the development that counts as much as the racing on track, Mercedes need more promising results, Michael in particular.
I see your Kamui support, and raise you supporting Kovalainen. "Come on Heikki, you can qualify 17th!" or "Yes! Finished on the lead lap."
It's very nice to see such magnanimous, gracious comments from EMSC. In the face of an idol's defeat, it takes a big man to make such a candid public admission. Manny , I always knew you were that manâ¦
Do such people exist? Or do they very briefly come into existence, only to take their own lives 3 races later?
I'm sure both Belgium and devon are full of D'Ambrosia fans. Kamui isn't having good 2nd half of the season (I thought MB was very harsh blaming him for that accident), he needs to drive like he did before. I wonder if there were any Ide fans?
