oh you really should look it up as my memory is ****e apart from certain events in the 70's but from about 78 it is full of holes .
I often look out for the Notts County results in the National League as well, some ground they have for lower leagues.
Sheff Utd player Billy Sharp head butted by a fan running onto pitch not seen footage but supposed to be a bit nasty So many scumbags with season tickets it seems
Lost 6 of their first 7 under Hughton. Lost 6 of the subsequent 39 under Cooper. They were bottom when he took over, remarkable turnaround. Would love to see them back in the PL.
Indeed. We put out a scratch side tonight, and Southampton, considering it was their last home game of the season (?), seemed to have the deckchairs out. But we all knew what tonight was about, and the same as Sunday - just win, and hope players don't get injured (ouch, poor Joe again). Some were saying we should put the best side out and go for 7 or 8 nil - nonsense: that's another Crystanbul in the making. No, it's all about winning the last two games and praying that a City side with nothing else in their season to play for but this will drop points against Villa, at home. Hmm, shades of City v W Ham in 2014, or Brighton v City in 2019. Bloody proud of our squad today though, including the much-maligned Minamino. Hope Div holds off on the flicks and what-nots on Sunday when he starts (he will), and we'll bring key players on if we need them. Much more important to get as many as poss ready for the CL final now rather than busting a gut against Wolves for what is probably a 2% chance City will slip up. But hey, can there ever have been a team that got 90+ points in a season TWICE and never won the league in those seasons? Outrageous fortune, but we don't complain.
