This is an interesting question...and you have to wonder how far they will let Putin go before trying to oust him. As powerful as he is, he must have made a lot of enemies to get to where he is now.

Yes, and he'll have even more enemies as he leads Russia into an ever weak position. The economy has taken a huge hit from sanctions, the military is badly denuded in personnel and equipment, and Putin has set most of the world against it and its oligarchs. There must surely be those close to power that are seriously questioning Putin's judgment and what they should do about it.

Sadiq Khan getting **** for suggesting that maybe cannabis should be legalised - 'He should be focussing on gangs and knife crime'.

Maybe taking the profit motive out of the illegal drugs trade would have the desired effect on that front.

A Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office spokesperson said:

North Korea’s ballistic missile launches on 12 May are a breach of UN Security Council resolutions. North Korea’s repeated testing of ballistic missile technology poses a threat to our regional partners and global security.

The UK will continue to call out all violations of UNSCRs. North Korea must return to dialogue and take credible steps towards denuclearisation in a complete, verifiable and irreversible manner.

Another basket case dictator, and one who is probably more likely to use a nuke.

Probably. The £300k for the statue and £100k for the unveiling ceremony might have been better used too.

No, not an IRA funeral, but trans right activists preventing women speaking about women's rights at the statue of Emmeline Pankhurst

I don't understand. Why are we changing the law regards brexit. I thought it was done and dusted and we just got on with our lives. I certainly have.

The summary by a political commentator on the radio (on sunday afetrnoon as we were driving back up North) was spot on. The only debate so far as I can see is whether Johnson really was stupid enough to not realise that Northern Ireland was being treated differently (until yesterday his apologists were alternating that line with the 'it's all the europeans fault.' For actually believing him when he signed the treaty that he meant it and that they should have used their common sense to dispense with the customs rules he signed up to. The alternative is that he deliberately sold the unionists down the river. Well at last we know who to blame if paramilitary murders return to the streets of Belfast. I lean towards the latter. He went into it with his eyes open knowing fulwell what the consequences would be.
