Anyway, thats a great result today. Got home from work half way through the second half and thought, I'd take the nil-nil. But this team is always capable of grinding out a win.

 

We F'd around with the defence a few weeks back taking Basso off. Same thing really.

I'd be interested to know from any of the fans there if Harper made a decent fist of the DM role and justified his selection. When I've seen him play, although not especially talented, was reasonably solid.

Defensive midfielders play centrally .
That way they cover the whole of the back four not just the left back .

I have never heard of a left sided defensive midfielder though .That is unless you are looking at doing a man to man job .
