Truly abysmal. And they spent most of the summer pondering over Tomiyasu before deciding to sign Royal!
As perhaps predicted, Arsenal being haunted by taking 0 points from those three games against ourselves, Brighton and Crystal Palace.
Yep. You look at both RBs, and then look at KWP, and scratch your head. Spurs sold KWP for someone much worse, and we offloaded to Arsenal someone much worse to buy KWP.
So then, we beat Spurs at theirs, Arsenal at ours, and now Arsenal lose to Spurs there. That makes us better than Arsenal this season. How good are we!
Big day for the relegation battle today. Interesting with the different ko times too. Everton could kick off against Brentford knowing a win makes them safe or they could be under huge pressure again if Leeds win and Burnley get a shock result.
I really wouldn't want to call the Leeds game - I could easily see any of the three outcomes. And even the Everton game isn't easy, albeit I do think Everton are favourites. But I really can't see anything other than a Burnley defeat. And probably a heavy one. Kane and Son are flying, and Burnley are missing both their CBs. Burnley need to keep it tight early, otherwise it could get very messy. Leeds winning and Everton losing (or drawing) would be my preference going into the final week. That would ensure that at least Leeds and Burnley will be fighting it out next Sunday (regardless of what happens in midweek), and potentially Everton too (depending on midweek). On the other hand, if Leeds were to lose today, they'll need a small miracle.
Haven’t been watching, but I noticed Kane scored in 45+8 mins …….was there a bad injury or something?
