Strange game with VAR, isn’t it? I know there’s talk of unnatural positions, and new rules etc etc… but I’d feel hard done by if we’d conceded that.
I literally don’t understand so many of the decisions in the game these days, especially with VAR. the “handball” rule in particular results in some very harsh decisions for all clubs.
I don’t actually think that’s a soft penalty, his arm’s practically at a right angle both as the ball comes down and as Sanchez hits it. It didn’t need to be there. Barnes only has himself to blame, I’d be furious if that was against us, not because it’s a bad call but because it’s utter ****ing stupidity from the player - and we have some stupid players. Moment I saw the replay I said that has to be a pen.
The irony was he didn't move when the pen was being taken Sort of like he does for every single goal kick...
I would be fuming if that was against us , we have had a few go against us over the season and it will sure boil the piss down the road
We have had some shockers against us so I’ll take it. And the fact it will p*ss Arsenal fans off makes it even better!
This decision may cost them lot a CL place, and Burnley a PL place. Hate some of these penalty decisions. Hate the stupid hairline offside decisions. If VAR is going to be used, then use ir with NUANCE.
Burnleh players crying because they know they can't park 2 buses anymore Game plan outa the window lol
Moura is hiding from the ball...constantly refusing to go into space...apart from his last play (the kane shot) he has been a passenger...has no confidence. We look tired (unsurprisingly, after Liverpool, Arsenal this week ... and only 2 and a half day rest since the NLD) but the crowd have been brilliant...Great atmosphere...loads of noise which is brilliant especially for such a stupid kick off time on a Sunday... Not sure I'm gonna cope with another 45 mins of this COYS
