Soooo fickle, one moment you getting promoted now after losing to Millwall away (which everyone knows is the easiest place to play in the whole world) you are getting relegated.
Exactly JWM. You can see he doesn't really have one by the subs he chooses. He did at least bring Wabara on and push Edwards forwards but only because of the injury to Bowyer.
Nope, the referee made a poor decision giving us that penalty, but he turned down a much better and deliberate looking handball shout earlier in the game. Anyway, funny how it is we are doing better in our respective league than you are in yours!
Starting to think we really are just **** with a team of pensioners that used up a whole seasons worth of luck in the run of games before the last 2 . hope i'm totally wrong but i think not .Thoughts
Youve always looked like **** when you come to the den. If it wasnt for Grant Holts inabilaty to stand up for a whole game you wouldnt get anythig from us.
No one on this thread has said we are going to get relegated! However it is the same old Ipswich of the last few years, we go on a decent little run and we get all our hopes up and then we play sh*t and go on a loosing run. Please PJ can you play Carson or Martin!

The past few performances have been terrible and there are major, major weaknesses of our team. But I don't think the run we went on was down to luck, the unbeaten run we went on, I have not seen us play that consistenly well for 4 years before ME came in and remember most of those matches were against teams near the top of the league. We will do ok this season but there will be a few more results and performances like this along the way. I've never known such a set of bipolar supporters before. We win and perform well and we are promotion material, we have a couple of bad performances and results and we are s**t, when IMO we are somewhere inbetween and it is unrealistic to think otherwise this season really.
The only frustrating thing about or squad is that we have no 'match winners'. When the whole team is on form we come together as a solid unit that look like we could finish top 6. But a couple of off days from one or two and we look utterly poor. Just from the last couple of games viewing our opponents we don't have players like Scannel or Zaha that can show a burst of pace or skill and take the game by the scruff of the neck. I hate to be doom and gloom about it because we are only 4 points from the play-offs but from what I've seen this season I am yet to be overly impressed or excited by our team. I think we need some quality brought in for January.
I'm not sure this is the main problem, I think atm we have more matchwinners in our team than I can recall for quite sometime, Chopra, Bullard, JET, Andrews, Scotland can all make something out of nothing. But I do agree that we lack alot of pace and someone who can take people on and run at defenders apart from our fullbacks. I agree we need to get some quality in in January but at the same time thats not to say we lack quality atm.
