I've got a good feeling about this, with extra time Liverpool will be knackered. I really think we could limit them to 4 or 5.
If it goes to penalties, and the teams can't be separated until many, many penalties have been scored (or missed, I'm not fussed), we might be able to keep the score to 2 or 3.
I just keep thinking that all those Liverpool shots that hit wood or were just outside the post will all be inside the post on Tuesday.
Easy to say that now given the expectation that Man City win tomorrow. If they were to slip up tomorrow though, he has to go for it against us imo. How often does a team get right to the end of the season with the chance of the quadruple? It doesn’t happen. We are the ideal opponent to claw back the GD against too. So if City slip up, the opportunity is still there to become the greatest ever team, and I’d expect him to go fairly strong against us still. If Man City win tomorrow though he’ll go full second string and kids against us (and probably still win lol).
Yeah I don’t think anyone besides Liverpool fans want them to win the league (or anything). Apart from Libby because he’s a weirdo
See I find it weird that people support City. Why would anyone want a single team (whoever they are) to dominate? City winning 4/5 makes the league far less interesting as a whole. Never mind the dodgy owner thing which is seemingly enough to hate the Toon? Really really bizarre imo. Plus, Saints fan so gotta support the underdogs init.
Nah I like Toon and hope they work their way into the top of the table conversation over the next few years. Football has been dead as a competition for the vast majority for years so it doesn’t really bother me which team dominates, because it will never be Saints, apart from listening to twat Liverpool fans and pundits sucking them off constantly. Aren’t anywhere near as many City ones like that.
