It doesn't matter who we get or have as coach, they will all be ripped apart at some stage.

First. Why am I ‘picking’ on you? I've never 'ignored' anyone in nearly 20 years of posting on forums and I’m not starting now. I don't have a problem with you Risty and never have, in fact one of the reasons why i engage with you is I think you post a lot of sense on a lot of subjects. But it’s a public forum and just as you are free to share your opinion I'm equally at liberty to disagree with it.

On this matter, You’re not the only one disappointed with Jesse but you’re the only one reminding us just how disappointed you are with everything about him numerous times a day. I don’t have the time or inclination to respond to every post so as chief protagonist you’re just the lucky one!

I'm not actually pro-Marsch at all but I'll support the underdog if i think someone is getting unfair stick. I've cringed at a few things like everyone and if I was his media advisor I’d be telling him to stfu but i believe he had a thankless task and some of the criticism and expectations are way over the top. You’re leading the charge on that in volume and variety of criticism so you’re copping the responses. No more no less than that.

Whichever, we can carry on bitching and calling each other Pal in a passive aggressive manner or park it and move on

    re Howe:

I like him and would happily have had him at Leeds. He does have successful PL experience (although it did ultimately end in relegation) so has credit in the bank - but I know a few Newcastle fans and they were frustrated they saw no great improvement over Bruce... and I said the same to them as i'm saying about Marsch.

I often read match reports, watch highlights, and follow stats of our opponents and i quoted facts on results and xg in my response. So, no I'm not an expert on Newcastle, but it isn't a completely baseless opinion just because I didn’t watch all their games. Their strategy at Elland Rd looked like give it to st maximin and hope for the best.

In Howe’s 11th match, Newcastle came to ours and were abject until we gifted them a goal. Let's hope JM gets the same kind of luck in his 11th game because we’re going to need it - and we can continue the debate in the premier league next season. If that happens and we find ourselves hanging our heads at regular abject performances 10 games in, i will happily bow to your foresight on marsch... and remind you that i never said he was any good <laugh> <cheers>

likewise fella. On reflection I think I probably have been on your case a bit recently, so apologies for that. Stop posting so much sh*t and we’ll be fine<laugh>. Nah seriously it’s just coincidence. Think we’re all grumpy as fck because our team’s been dogshite all season.

Just frustration and disappointment, I think we’d all forgot what it was like to watch these kind of performances and we probably thought we were back for good. Can’t believe a few had hoped for top 6 at the start of this season
