Just sorted a return from Dumfries to Mansfield, my son's, for £60, excellent. Being picked up Saturday am and dropped back on Sunday. It'll be the easiest trip to Wembley I've ever done
I've got mine (4) please log in to view this image but until a few moments ago I didn't know how we were going to get there. Car seemed likely 'cos of work commitments for my daughter, her getting travel sick on coaches, train times not being appropriate, and my granddaughter having a dancing competition on the Sunday that we've got to be back for . . . . bloody kids please log in to view this image It's just been confirmed that we'll be going by car, there and back the same day, so no weekend in That London as previously planned with Mrs. A. (poor her ). I know that I'll see some of you down there
Ours changed last minute as mate who was driving couldn’t fit all the people in car that were with us. We then booked one the packages from Tates Travel and all is good.
Cleared under my bed. Gonna hide underneath with my eyes closed and fingers in my ears, TV and radio off. Sorted!
Driving down Friday night after work and booked into the PremierInn Edgware. Aim to get there around 9-9:30, drop bags and head over to Trafalgar Square. Tube to Wembley at lunchtime on Saturday and then back to hotel after the match to collect the car and head home with massive smiles on our faces
That is where we are booked in as well, although at the moment only got 4 tickets, so hopefully get another 3 tomorrow (myself, 3 sons and 3 grandchildren). Youngest son is on holiday (but he is the one booking the tickets) and won't know if he can have an extra 2 days off for this, or 1 day and swap a shift from lates to earlies for the Friday. Therefore not sure we will arrive. However we will book a couple of driveways on JustPark for the Saturday around Canons Park Station so that it means a quicker getaway after the game. Wasn't going to go after recent heart surgery but heart nurse at rehab class I go to has given me the green light to go. Can't wait and hopefully I will have a winners ticket to go with my 73 ticket I carry everywhere in wallet
Yeah...it's a doddle to do. You can hop on an off all day, and it keeps totting the cost up. Once you've spent more than what a day ticket costs, it will automatically then just charge you for a day ticket. Good tip though....make a non-contactless purchase (using your pin) or withdraw some cash from a cashpoint the day before or on the day. It just resets the number of times you can use contactless before it asks you to use a pin.
Hope you use slip in some apt songs in this gig set marra... Daydream Believer I Can't Help Falling In Love With You ....and best of all, this one, ha ha ha !... (wait until your it when they mentions Dennis Tueart) - Ha ha ha !!
Funnily enough I’ve been trying to get “Ready to go!” In for ages!! Great track, cracking bass line (as I play bass and sing now) and great guitar work for the guitarist!!
watching it on the telly, after 1990 i have had enough, our coach broke down half way back, then gan to Man u for the f a cup semi in 1994 again the team did not turn up, they better turn up next Saturday the f a don't give a toss about the northerners i would rather go to Hampden
I doubt the railway station will be full but if it is you could use walker Gate multi storey about a 10 minute walk from station,or the multi storey at side gate near gala theatre. That's a 15 minute walk back to station and it's uphill. Both are £9.50 for 24hrs. Nowt else near the station other than permit holders parking.
