Wait and see... the police had no lawful reason to delay any fines until after the local elections, rabbit off here like
Policies for popularity with thicko’s not to improve anything https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...diana-johnson-british-red-cross-b2076519.html
The police don't look good with all this. They obviously turned a blind eye to the Downing Street parties and are now dragging their heels with the aftermath. The Durham police look like a flapping fish on a quayside.
Met let the Liar off with cheese and wine in the sunny garden works meeting, wonder how the brains of Durham will look at Labour
The Labour Durham Constabulary have already messed up by waiting until just after the election to announce this investigation. They've already involved themselves in politics by not announcing it as soon as they decided to review the case. Starmer knows he's getting away with it. Fwiw, if he's found guilty I don't think he should resign. Partygate and Beergate have been blown out of proportion.
Sir Keir Starmer would not directly address the question of whether he was right to call for Boris Johnson to resign when he was under investigation for breaking the rules. Asked if he jumped the gun in calling for the Prime Minister and Chancellor’s resignations when they were only under investigation for breaking the rules, Sir Keir said: “I’m setting out my position in relation to the events of the last few days. “The Prime Minister has chosen not to resign, notwithstanding that, not only has he broken the law that he made, but 50 fines being imposed in relation to the workplace that he is responsible for. “That is his choice. But it’s very important that the public don’t think that all politicians are the same and that is why I have set out my position in terms of honour and integrity.” Asked again about the Prime Minister not having been found guilty at the time Sir Keir called for him to quit, the Labour leader said: “He’s been found guilty, he’s been found to be in breach of the law. I think over 50 fines now in relation to Downing Street, and the Prime Minister has not stepped down. “He and others in his party want the public to believe that we’re all the same, that we’ll all act in that way. I’m here to make clear that is not the case.”
The police have been an absolute disgrace and would have done absolutely nothing if it wasn’t for the media pressure. Makes you wonder what else they have turned a blind eye to.
It is beyond parody now. Unbelievable how these lying bastards can actually keep a straight face as they continue to "**** the plebs" whilst lining the pockets of the rich.
Anyone believe this ... "Boris Johnson said 50 people have been told they will be sent to Rwanda within the next fortnight, and that he was ready to fight with “leftie lawyers” seeking to challenge the government’s plans for refugees."
I doubt it tbh, he's already put his excuse in the statement ... ... as if only 'lefty lawyers' care about the plight of human beings.
I think it’s a great idea whoever the government is, as long as the genuine refugees are allowed back here I can’t see a problem.
This is all just bluster. If they want to send "asylum seekers" to Rwanda they have the ability to pass a law to enable them to do that. They will try to send people to Rwanda, human rights lawyers will stop it and then they will turn round and blame "lefty lawyers". Will be lapped up by the Faecesbook lot though so job done.
