I cant understand why any rational person would want to waste time and money to do this type of thing.
I'm not always perceptive at matches cos I get too excited. But I said, after they scored, that the players and supporters were congratulating each other far too much ... ... they looked they thought they were winning, not just back to square one. We caught them cold while they were still waving their torches

A Sunderland mate in Sheffield sent me this from their forum. According to Sky it was a Wednesday wall of noise The atmosphere yesterday was absolutely dreadful considering the importance of the game and the fact we needed 1 goal to get back into it. I hate to say this but if you have a similar game at bramall lane or elland road then the stand behind the goal is stood up all game sucking the goal towards the goal, making it difficult for the opposing team and putting pressure on the referee any time there’s time wasting or a 50-50 decision. I’m a big believer in the 12th man and how it helps certain clubs pull results out of the hat when they’re playing at home. Hillsborough is like giving them a 12th man, making our team nervous, barely mustering up any noise when Sunderland had the ball. The top chants from the kop before we scored were ‘gerrin forward’ followed by ‘sit dahn, there’s kids ‘ere’ Of all the things that’s disappointed me the most from the two legs it’s our own fans. Hillsborough was like a library for the vast majority of the biggest game of the season. We’ll only get behind the players when we’re winning.
After an hour of great home support at the SOL the Wednesday fans slipped in 'Is this a library'. Oh how I chuckled on Monday
Lad at work reckons he knows of a couple of mags trying to get into the Wycombe end. They’re not obsessed though, not at all.
Just before the game they were talking in the studio about how loud it was and that they couldn’t hear each other…cut to the cameraman showing the crowd all standing in near silence or chatting to each other. I mean, I thought the Sheffield fans were great at our ground mind and no doubt they were loud at times but the timing of the comment just didn’t fit.
She was 13 but went downhill fast mate. A bit of time to prepare and spoil her with less suffering would of been better. Like when me mam went but hey ho, it is what it is. Lifes a bitch.
To be fair the commentary of both games was heavily biased to the home club. You could tell sky were going down the angle of two huge clubs with huge supports. And the commentators were helping sell that by commentating from the perspective of the home side. Having watched both on the TV tho, what I will say is that our home game genuinely felt like a premier league game, whereas their home game felt like a championship game. Such a shame as hillsborough is a great old ground but it’s just not fit for the top flight any more. It neither has the charm or a small traditional ground nor the grandeur of a modern large ground. It’s just a wreck. And the atmosphere kinda matches it
