Hard fought win. At least we have the players to rotate a bit now and one or two of them score unexpectedly ......
Possibly, but if he's not being professional he'd certainly go down in my estimation. Good job we bought Diaz who is filling the vacuum he's leaving.
Tsimiskas has done really well when used this season, but he was one of the worst performers tonight. At least Robertson had a rest.
I’m sorry, but how can Dublin go on about first and second phases of offside? Watkins was offside, there’s no excuse then to carry on which then leads to Villa’s goal regardless of how crap we defended.
The negativity between games gets up my nose a lot of the time, I imagine it's pretty furious during one.
Were they the same ones who said we should just throw in the towel and not bother with this game anyway?
We won today but the PL has slipped a little further away with that win. Still not over but we really need City to go Spursy now to have hope.
How good is Diaz though. Even if he doesn’t score and assist (did today) just his all round energy. Never stops. Always looks to do something. Totally different compared to Salah mane Jota. Salah and mane very much speed acceleration to burst away from players. Diaz can actually front someone up and use a bit of skill and trickery to create space. Just love watching him play.
Yeah, but Mané's always been there - I mean we have added Diaz just when we needed him. Interesting how Mané had a good African tournament and it's given him a new lease of life and Mo has had the reverse.
Special mention to Mane. Amongst all the Salah contract stuff, he’s stepped up to become the main man…e Thing is all the talk of Salahs poor form, have to remember he played so much and had the disappointment of the afcon and WC qualifiers. On the other hand, Mane has won both of those and come back full of confidence.
