When I asked if it was a jumbo he said it was an A330. Good point about departure and arrival slots before the plane has been chartered, I shall ask him that now!

<laugh> no, but I might try it for the CL Final and get some money from the Scousers.

Just checked the ATOL number and it checks out properly, not sure why it took an hour for them to give him it though, you would think that all company employees would know it anyway or simply just ask somebody. It is almost as if he is just messaging his 2nd phone and just pretending to be talking to a charter company
