I'll admit that I'd give all three cups up, including the CL, for the League. Old enough to remember though that in the late 70's I'd have given a couple of leagues for the EC, before we won it. That's where City are now. Fate don't work that way. Can not and will not though criticise a team that lost just four points in four months trying to overhaul a 14 point gap, and also got to three cup finals. But credit to City; you don't win the league unless you deserve to win the league. ****s.
After watching the 1st leg I can't see sheff wed scoring once never mind twice tonight. Sunderland certain to get promoted this time.
Klopp only goes out when they have home games or is mistaking Liverpool for Laaaandan or he has realised nobody but ****s like Liverpool.
If you had any sense of depth you'd be able to tell that he actually doubled down on what he said about Conte while at the same time praising him. Like me saying I won't call you a dickhead cos that's rude. But I just did. You see?
Sure he puckered up and got into that Italian hoop. ****ing love it. Worried someone may think they both had a hair transplant.
Utter dogshit; Klopp and his missus are always out and about around Liverpool. Just because Don Carlos never left his hotel except to try and fight off disgruntled Bitters at Finch Farm trying to lynch their own players. Rafa was the last Blues manager who wasn't scared to go out and mix with people on Merseyside.
I thought this would possibly happen... https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/northampton-town-bristol-rovers-complaint-7057259 Northampton Town are set to lodge a formal complaint to the EFL around Scunthorpe United team selection for their 7-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers, claiming it ran contrary to the integrity of the league as the Gas secured automatic promotion on a dramatic final day of the League Two season.
The two go in tandem and always have done since they opened up the CL to the 3/4 runners up in the PL. You might be the the best team in England but to be truly great you always had to become European champions as well. Likewise a club might become the best in Europe but they also have to win the PL title otherwise they were never truly the best the best in England. City desperately need that Champions League and Liverpool need to show they can win more than one league title in 30 years (approx). Both great teams but we're talking here about being judged as the very best of the best. Liverpool might still do that this season whereas City definitely have to wait another year. Final thing, there's been a lot of talk about this being the best Liverpool team ever, but for me they need to win the league again before they can be considered that.
Having won CL recently, I'd rather Chelsea won the league again. But really hard to do, with Pep and Klopp about
Nah its cos I wanna jinx them somehow and larf at Saff for being a pep city fanboy. Erm so yeh Ive got beers in the freezer on the cool so someone's getting it tonight
