Could only find this link. Never thought I’d ever post British poultry link but the independent one was behind a paywall. Another bit of Brexit mismanagement costing British industry at a time they really don’t need it. We really did negotiate a terrible deal didn’t we? https://britishpoultry.org.uk/the-worlds-best-border-is-not-concerned-with-fair-uk-eu-trade/
It’s feeling like they may well do it. I almost wish that Starmer hadn’t suggested it or they may be more likely to do it. Really worried about this now for families and also professional reasons- kids will be like putty in county line gangs hands if things get bad
If they do nothing about this and let these companies get away making these massive profits, while people struggle to either eat or keep warm I will be first on the list to vote against them in the next election, couldn’t care less what other people think on here, and if Labour get in so be it, let’s see what they do.
It's already bad enough for kids, in poverty, growing up. They must look at the Toffs like Boris and think they're from an entirely different world from them. There used to be a war on drugs but the government waved the white flag years ago.
Results so far look good to me for politics. Greens up, Labour up, Lib Dems up, Tories down. If only this was a general election and we could get the current government under control.
Seriously wtf is this all about, its every week now and nothing is done. How can BA be allowed to take money from people knowing they can't provide the service ... ... 9000 passengers, this time, have had their plans ruined. https://www.independent.co.uk/trave...es-british-airways-heathrow-b2071217.html?amp Travellers stuck in long queues at Birmingham Airport as staff shortages lead to delays British Airways has cancelled more than 100 short-haul flights to and from its main base, London Heathrow airport on Thursday. The Independent calculates 18 domestic flights have been grounded, including two round-trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Jersey. A total of 100 short-haul international flights are cancelled, including three round-trips to and from Amsterdam, as well as links to Istanbul and Gibraltar
Can’t entirely vouch for the source but it looks like it’s a relatively balanced facts page and is quoting ONS as the source but if true the economic impact of the Brexit deal they negotiated is there for all to see and is probably the reason why we can’t subsidise poverty. At the very least we need a new cabinet and a new deal. We can’t make the poorest suffer for ideology
If the figures are exaggerated ten times its still too much and I can't see how they'll make it better tbh.
Wonder how the Liar is going to spin this... he'll not bother, he's concentrating on getting the big decisions right
If I was Boris, the last thing I would want is Stamer resigning and some genuine opposition taking his place .
That comment is like a two edged sword, I look at it and think how s hite is Starmer if he can’t beat this fat blonde f ucker, and the truth is that’s how s hite he is.
Its like the Thatcher and Kinnock Show all over again, and every bit as damaging. Knighthoods all round.
You have Boris as prime minister and you have some one as s hite as Starmer and the horse and people wonder why we don’t have a Labour government
