I'm not attempting to state that Dramah could be our saviour but I can't understand why he can't play for Leeds? Teams are allowed to recall players on loan are they not? I don't understand the issue/rule here.
i blame the management concerning meslier, he is still very raw and prone to taking an extra touch when a good first time clearance would suffice he should have had an experienced keeper to push him or at least offer words of advice......rodrigo has been a flop no two ways about it,philips isn't the same player in this system and will be gone, raphinia simply deserves better players around him..as for ayling, klich they shouldn't be seen as regular first team prem players...whichever way this season ends a BIG overhaul is needed
If we went down. Probably something like... --------------Meslier Ayling---Cooper---Struijk---New -----------Forshaw---New James-------------------Harrison --------Bamford- Gelhardt Subs. Greenwood. Klich. Cresswell. Klaasan. Shackleton. Bate. Roberts. Hjelde. Dallas to come in after Christmas. Don't forget the sale of Phillips, Raphinha, Rodrigo, Llorente, Firpo, Koch, Summerville and Dramah would give us a hefty transfer budget at LB and midfield. It's not the worst Championship team I've seen. Add in 3 or 4 new faces that Marsch would want and we probably have 2 seasons to get up before parachute payments stop. Either way, I think we have an exciting couple of seasons ahead.
On Meslier.... I've seen world class keepers make the same mistake. He's young. I like him. The timing of it is the real kick in the balls.
Have to feel bad for Dallas. Did Northern Ireland make the World Cup. I know the Republic of Ireland didn't, but they're proper shyte!!!!
Players on loan can only be recalled during an active transfer window. As the next transfer window doesn't open until 1st June, then they can't be recalled and made available for selection until then
Agree with this and i like him too. But I think the Leeds fans have tended to over-rate him… In terms of where he is at now. I commented on his distribution in the ‘valuation’ debate last week. I think some of it is coachable/experience… ie when to play when to hoof. But he’s had a few of these this season and his general ‘ball’ skills are not at the level top clubs want. He may go on to be a world class keeper but it’s the footballing aspects that restrict his ceiling (currently).
Not sure how much of the transfer money would go onto team building, it is believed we ate mortgaged to the tune of £129m , which is backed by the income from PL revenue, no PL revenue, means transfers will be paying off the debt. The owners took a big gamble in January, as quite a few of us said at the time, relying on what we had was a mistake, especially as neither coach seem to have much faith in the u23's
I'm not too sure they would. He's young. I don't know why but I think he'd stay and give us another season. He seems settled.
