I'm not a big fan of swede or anything mashed up with my roastie tbh. I find it turns the plate to mush when it mixes with the gravy. That said, one of the pubs we go to for sunday lunch does an amazing celeriac mash. Just the right amount, has an amazing flavour.
Celeriac mash is superb. Proper flavour for a Sunday dinner, none of this sweetness bollocks. I've got another plate of the beef dinner for today's lunch. Be eating it in about an hour, requested no parsnip on this one.
Yup, just needs a little bit of it too. Agreed about the honey glazed carrots and parsnip thing, I'm not a fan either Bit of butter and lots of black pepper for me

I’m gonna be honest mate. I lost my smell and taste about 6 months ago (covid) and I still haven’t really got it back. Most of my meals now consist of strong flavoured foods just so that I can get some sort of enjoyment out it. Bad times. Go on holiday in three days too! If I manage to get off the ****ter.
