This is Hake fillet with cream samphire and cockle sauce with paprika chips, from last night.

Cubes of pork belly to start. The white Rioja was superb too.

    Highly recommend this place @luvgonzo

Puds have a good colour, but oil wasn’t hot enough so are a little flat.

There are carrots, you can see one sticking out from beneath the yorkshire at the top.

General consensus seems to be swede is disliked? It's my least favourite veg on there (also not really a parsnip fan), but it's good for you, give it a go.

Was well seasoned by the way.

Swede and parsnip belong in the bin. My mum used to mash them up and try and hide them in mashed potato to get me to eat them.

Now can’t eat mash as have PTSD

I love swede, only problem I have is I can't be arsed cutting the fookers up. So stuff like carrots and parsnips will often be on the shopping list but rarely the swede.

The whole contents of the dinner looked alright to me, so it's a yes, although will admit I didn't see the carrot(s) until you pointed it out.
