I know it's a bit early, but I have always wanted to start one of these before I snuff it. I guess Kermorgant and Green will get the nod over Hayes and Wagstaff for the time being, and the "don't change a winning team" argument works the other way now? Injuries and sickness apart, I guess the only question is whether Stephens comes back at Hughes expense? I am guessing CP will leave it unchanged. Our resident oracle mumbled something about Jackson being out with a hamstring soon after the Wycombe match. I have seen no other mention but in the unlikely event there is any truth in it I would favour Evina to come in rather than Stephens, Wagstaff or Euell. If we play like we did in the first halves v Carlisle and Wycombe three points are in the bag. If like in the second halves (or the first half against Stevenage) we will be lucky to come away with one.
how about waggy and green in same team with kermit and bwp up front?speaking of kermit has anyone thourght of a song for him yet what about we got our own kermit to the tune of muppett show!
good luck to charlton on saturday ,we beat them at their place a couple of weeks ago 3-1 and convincingly so it SHOULD be an easy win for you lot especially with bwp up front.
Think it's one of those game where it goes 2 ways- we slump to a depressing 1-0 loss, or we start on fire and win with relative ease 2-0 or 3-1. Think I'll go with a 2-0 win.
I think we're on a roll similar to how we started the season. I'm going for a win, with a clean sheet and an unchanged team. Stephens will be on the bench in place of Euell.
Sir John, can't see Stephens on bench. Chris seems to think that Euell can cover both Kermit and the central midfield role from the bench but I'm not sure he can. When Jason came on for Hollands against Carlisle I'm not sure where Jason was playing but it certainly wasn't a central midfield role and the team seemed to lose its formation.
Current odds are daft, Monkey Hangers are almost 3/1 for a home win?????? My bet for 2morrow @ Hills Charlton win 2-0 (10/1) with Kermit first goal (6/1) returns £770 on a ten spot
AH - admire your optimism - might have a dabble myself. Am glad both Solano and Sweeney will be absent for the 'Pool
Love him to bits but when Euell came on V Carlisle he looked abit like a retired player having his testimonial n coming on for a few mins as its his match and looking abit out of his depth.
Have faith MT- it was only the end of last season he was having a purple patch in the championship. If we k ow anything from euells first spell with us, it's that he needs a run of games. I remember him being a few games having not scored after signing for us(maybe everton, or another kit in blue). He hit the post and bar in the same game and was started to be jeered. Then scored (memory escapes if it was the sane game), and he then went on to be our consistent 10goals+ a season. I'm sure CP told him he won't be a starter and it's his job to step up. I'm also sure that euell knows that and is doing his upmost to do what's required. Also like the story from a few weeks back that when euell called CP, "powelly" and was blasted back, and told it's "gaffer". No BS from chrissy.
As I said am a big fan of jason I`m sure he`l play his part in our promotion season...3 poits today 3 0 BWP hatrick at last
Just Spoke to my Pools mate - he said it would be a big surprise if Pools dont lose by 2 at least - says they are not playing well right now - thats the kiss of death then !
