Yates is stuffed after blowing uo early on the Blockhous (sp) yesterday . Great finish at the top between Bardet , Carapaz and Hindley who won by about 2 inches

 

great stage in the Giro today with riders dropped left right centre . Should be a great finish as hardly any of the GC riders who have stayed in lead group have any other team members with them .

The whole Giro has been brutal tbf and the pelaton has often been only 30 riders - great fun

The problem there is that they are 'Open' tournaments, so in theory anyone can enter so long as they make the cut.

 

the punching incident by that italian feller was a bit weird to say the least .Had to rewind it 4 times before i spotted them and then found out he apparently smacked the same guy at the end of the stage
strangely he was thrown out the race

 

Couldn't go much better for Max today really. Only thing that could have made it better would be having his teammate up there with him. Having Alonso P2 could have the same effect though; he loves to hold everyone up!
