It's fairly obvious that there's a cock up with the virtual safety car and they all should have a pit. So Russel hung out hoping and got lucky. 6th is absolutely.maxing that merc performance for.me.

Hamilton cannot.bemoan his own team mates pure luck.

Still waiting for the dnfs here.

No doubt, but the difference is so extreme that I feel they'd still be better off even if it costs them a tenth over the lap. Being unable to pass and also doomed every time max gets DRS is going to kill them over the season.

The team could have called it, pulled him in, stuck him on faster rubber, swapped them on track and looked to go forward. But as normal, they have no bloody clue how to deal with crap on the fly

What was Mick doing with that lunge by the way. Never scored points in F1 and tenth with two laps to go, why on earth wouldn't you just play it safe

But Russell didn’t overtake Hamilton outside track limits , he got outside the track limits before then but was well on track when it happened.

Because Mick is not that good a driver and is only there because of his name

Kind of irrelevant at the end of the day. If he gave it up, he got it back.

Fastest lap and win for verstappen.

2/3 for ferrari is maybe maximising the return on a hig speed track. I dunno.

5/6 for merc is pretty much maxing it.

The rest well its all albon getting a point I suppose.

Mclaren bit of a total mare.

Are they weighing the drivers after they have taken on fluids?
