only positives I think are Wilson and Trips getting a run out
another 8 days might see them fitter and sharper

 

I honestly think Lascelles is the biggest problem.

Hopefully... I suspect after Dubs ****ed up the defenders lost faith he was going to deal with things..

Ultimately that was a total miss match in all areas. I don't think a single nufc player would make a sub appearance in that city side.

Wood should have scored first half, A fit Wilson would have had 2 and the 5th goal strangely was more than half a minute beyond injury time. Better team by far won but we could have been better. Great to see Wilson and Trips back.

Wood- he’s ****in dogshit.
Lascelles- he’s also dogshit.
Shelvey- he’s dogshit.
ASM- he is actually crap. He’s not a team player and I can’t stand his attitude anymore. His interview slagging off his team mates was the last straw for me. He has been **** and huffed since Howe came in.

 

Typical mouthy little Geordie. I have great time for the decent Newcastle fans but cowards like yourself do your fanbase no favours.

 

I think that's overly harsh on Dubs he's been spot on for Howe and a very reliable keeper more often than not.

He made a huge error today ok, but we lost 5 nowt nowt 1 - 0

Did anyone really play well today? If anything I've taken from that it's that we need 11 players to compete with that side, but for the next 3 years we aren't going to be anyway.

We definitely need another keeper because Dubs is the only one good enough really and you need 2.... They'd have to be a good keeper and I'm not convinced Henderson is better...
