They're under no delusions that this a long term project tbf, theyve said progress will be gradual. Objective of staying up more than achieved, and build from there.
Yeah but I’m hopeful now that they realise top 6 next season will be really difficult. We have so many sub par players it’s unreal. We have two players who might play for a top 6 side, but both of those.- Trippier and Bruno - would be lucky to make a matchday squad for the top 2. Of the rest, again we’ve only got a handful who are mid table standard. Far too many are relegation/Champ level.
