BoJo shows up to work in the property where he lives and somebody shows up with birthday cake.
BoJo gets an FPN two years later for a breach of Covid regulations.
Dame Kelly Stormer states that any politician under investigation for rule breaches should resign.
Dame Kelly Stormer shows up to work in a property where he does not live and has a pre-arranged curry and beer.
Dame Kelly Stormer is not issued with an FPN two years later for a breach of Covid regulations.
Now Dame Kelly Stormer is under investigation and evidence of his breach of the rules is published.
Surely Dame Kelly Stormer should resign and set an example to BoJo who should also resign?
Somebody in politics should demonstrate some principles as we take it as read that they are all liars. One of them created the rules and the other used to be the top lawyer in the land.

There you go again, not bothering with the facts and just posting any old “I hate Boris” rubbish. <doh>

Theresa May did a deal with the DUP after she lost her majority in the 2017 General Election and needed them to back her in the Commons. That deal was nothing to do with Brexit specifically; however, the DUP were pro-Brexit and had 10 MPs that gave the Maybot a theoretical majority of 2. Her Brexit deal would not pass because half her own backbenchers were Remainers.

The Brexit bill that went before Parliament after the 2019 General Election passed by 521 votes to 73, with most Labour MPs voting with the majority Conservative government whilst the Lib Dems, SNP and DUP voted against it. The DUP voted against the deal because they objected to the Northern Ireland Protocol – a situation that still exists, which is why they are refusing to participate in the power sharing at Stormont.

Ultimately the Northern Ireland Protocol will be unilaterally axed as it has become unworkable (the EU’s intention). Macron is an irrelevance as the United States of France continues to dwindle into global insignificance. People would rather cross his country and get in a dinghy to Britain than stay there.

The Police Chief that found no reason to investigate Keith, just happens to be prominent in the Labour party. It wouldn't be a surprise to find they were at the do. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I never saw Valhalla, so I will assume that it was on Netflix.

Did the black Vikings have dreadlocks? If they went on a dreadlock holiday was the piña colada invented by a Scandinavian? <laugh>

As I understood it from the original reporting, the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner was at that meeting. So if they hand out a ticket to Keith and Ginger Growler, they will surely have to give one to the PCC Joy Allen as well. That may be why Durham Police were so insistent that they were not going to investigate rule breaches retrospectively, as Joy Allen used to be a Labour member of Durham City Council.

Northern Ireland Protocol ‘to be scrapped’ as Sinn Fein celebrates historic victory

You do not need to take my opinion for it as reporting in the Sunday Telegraph shows that the EU’s negotiator on the Northern Ireland Protocol, Maros Sefcovic, is refusing to move the EU position, so Liz Truss will simply tear it up.

The border with the EU will revert to being the border between the Republic and Northern Ireland, which will be bad news for the Republic’s agro-economy as its biggest market is right next door and across the Irish Sea. Being Brussels’ poodle in Brexit negotiations is going to backfire on the Irish big time.

In the same paper, DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson gives the case: The NI Protocol lacks democratic legitimacy and must be removed

How disingenuous. Tedros single handedly eliminated Cholera in Ethiopia when he was Health Minister there.

There does seem to have been a corresponding increase in the newly named AWD (Acute Watery Diarrhea), but I'm sure that's purely coincidental.
