Women’s football being pushed on Sky.

For example, “could we have a bigger day than today?” Err yes, easily.

First goal on free kick into box and a header to the middle of the goal scores as the goalkeeper is beside the post!!! Top of the table clash!! Neither the quality nor the crowds merit the level of cover being given.

I just want to watch sport and not have a political agenda pushed down my throat.

Women's football was ruined before it even started. All about the do called big 6... The finals are already just thode clubs... Utter ****e and non are local

It’s **** to watch. If TV companies selected sports on standards and popularity then it wouldn’t get a look in. Because it’s womens sport though they put this ****e on and throw a few black folk on to do punditry to tick some more boxes.

sky should set up a womens sport channel so the 19 people who watch that ****e can knock themselves out.

And see who and how many pay for that channel. That’s one of my gripes, I’m paying them to push their agenda. Have cancelled it anyway and now just on the run off ‘minimum’ period we had originally signed up for.

Womens football is a joke. It’s embarrassingly bad. I listened to a bit of commentary on Talksport and the efforts they go through to make it sound remotely competent is laughable. One of the goals was being talked about as “getting better and better each time I watch it” with “unbelievable ability to take it in”. It was just pure gash and like everything just gets worse every time you watch.

As you rightly say here, stop trying to make it the EPL and stop forcing it down throats. They should make it an almost completely different sport, use these ideas like 60 mins there, maybe make it 9 a side with power plays, shrink the pitches and the goals, sin bins for yellow cards. It should be completely different but sadly we’re run by idiots and politicians (not mutually exclusive).
