He's won the FA Cup, but hes never been anything close to an integral part of that Leicester team. He'll be moving on in the summer. He looked like a major talent with us, but he's never gone on to the next level.
Still I'm pretty sure he doesn't regret leaving the toon. He'll be done with football by the time nufc is winning anything.
He did the right thing in leaving, and Leicester was a great opportunity for him, he clearly hasn't proved to be the savvy signing they thought he'd be though. £30m for him now seems farcical.
I doubt we'll see much of wood next season.. If Wilsons fit and we sign Ekiteke he'll not play much. I don't think they'll be signing anyone like or close to the price of Nunez.. It's effectively year 1 of a 5 to 10 year plan, so I'm surprised people keep pumping out names like that already.
Are you feckin serious? Jeff Hendrick making a comeback for us and beingvthe star of next season is more likely than that.
