Their keeper crocked himself in the second half, about 65 mins. He did a great job of hiding it, but I reckon he tweaked a groin. Never kicked after that and when asked to dive was slow. His header was down to that. Next game comes quickly...

1 up and they have to attack us in the second leg...

My bum will be squeaking so loudly that all my neighbours are all going to be out hunting the 50ft mouse that they think must be making the noise!

Well what a massive let down from shef wed, only one team wanted to play football there tonight.

Should have been more comfortable but I’m happy with that we will score at there place so I’m not worried at all.

Suprised Wednesday sat back so much and seemed content with a draw.

When we passed it about they were chasing shadows and didn't know what to do to counter act it.

They have to come at us Monday and we can exploit the space they leave

I didn't think he was very good before that tbh.

We need to get some one on one's with him on Monday.

I've having a bet on Patterson to score just in case <laugh>

We didn't despite what some thought when Broadhead didn't make it ...

... Wednesday have to attack now, which is what Neil wanted imo.

If we score down there I can't see them winning tbh.

You could see his quality. He ran the show last 15 minutes but was nowhere near the other 75. Only started looking capable when we ran out of steam

Is that cause we didn't let him do what ever he wanted. On the other hand they couldn't handle Pritchard or Roberts when we went at them for those first 15 minutes of second half. Not sure if we let them have possession or they stepped it up a bit near the end but even then they were no where as near threatening as we were for that short period!

Happy enough with that. Should have scored more, but we played them off the park for 70 mins. I think we will need to score down there though. **** me, it's going to be nervy......

Aye I agree he looked decent but no where near Pritchard who does what he does but also has a right fight about him!

bannan is quality, credit to the players that they kept him quiet enough that he dropped deeper, only then did he get to play a bit...not sure he was even 100% fit in truth but he is such a talisman for them they probably thought it was worth the chance.

as i said earlier i honestly think their game plan was to make sure we did not win, i have felt all along there will be one goal in it and now they have to go all out while we could have a completely different game plan especially if broadhead is fit, we all know how good he is on the break.

Apart from maybe using subs earlier, I was happy enough with that.

Should have had more, but there's nowt to say we won't score down there.

Thought the onion did a good job on Bannon. Baht, Wright and Evans also very good. Roberts' best game for us IMO.

actually i agree with that, pritchard the better player in my books, bannan probably shades the midfield play but pritchard is a danger in the box as well and covers more ground.

I think we stopped him playing tbh, he looked frustrated at the end.

I have a feeling we'll put Matete on him on Monday if Neil trusts him. Personally I'd play O'Nien until he's booked.
