He's not been great, but this seems disingenuous. I've not for one second thought that he's not trying because he's not our player. He's a bairn. Give him a break. That's our model.
Agree there neither have been particularly impressive, Roberts has been better overall but seems to take one too many touches and lose out most of the time.
Well, unless something happened in the first 15 minutes (which I didn't see) a pretty cagey affair until inside the last 10,minutes when Sunderland suddenly came alive and looked likely to score which, of course, they did. Clarke is talented as **** but needs to get his head screwed on better. He could be excellent, with a bit more nous and selflessness.
