@luvgonzo you mentioned possibly meeting him for a derby. Do you have any contact info, if we had a small collection for a small get well gift using Paypal to send to you to buy on our behalf or something, or even just cards could you send it on? Or did you not have that details. Is RHC the only person we all have the name and address of?

No it was just organised on here and before we got to the swapping mobile numbers Covid kicked in. Merseyside derby at Goodison before it's gone and meeting up for a beer with someone I genuinly get on with on here, proper kick in the nuts from Covid.

I had a number, as I was going to visit him in Castle Hill hospital some years back. Not ringing that up or giving it out though (if I could even find it). May be an idea to ask @brb ? I know they were close through the mod/administrator business. Dunno if brb can set up a fund for us to contribute? If not, we'll give it a few weeks till we know more, and set up a Just Giving thing for Marie Curie or such?

Tell you, just got back @ an hour ago from a four hour walk. My head is a shed. I know on Saturday it'll be back to football and giving the Spurs mob on here a load of grief, and that's a good thing - football, nearly as much as family, MAKES you get on with life. But for now, and this evening - I'm ****ed.

 

If we don't hear from Tobes let's say within a month (from now), I'll reveal more detail about the prognosis, then we can make a decision from there on about the Just Giving thing (for Marie Curie or such?), which sounds absolutely ideal to me. At this moment in time i'm trying to keep a balance of privacy and confidence of information, while at the same time keeping ppl informed without breaking the former. He did mention your name mate, so I will be guided by you.
