But…. When they both played were we playing Norwich, Watford, Burnley? I know Llorente was definitely playing when we were receiving a few stuffings because he looked awful

Who told you this Phil the **** Hay. Bielsa has gone, if we go down he won't be the manager that takes us down. <ok>

We’re nearer to relegation now than when Bielsa was here.

Marsch has beaten the bottom two teams, he had the greatest slice of good fortune when Wolves self destructed on a red card.

He has had more players available than at any other times this season. Bielsas Leeds would have beaten both Southampton and Palace <ok>

The bielsa you were slagging off all season is looking pretty good through those rose-tinted spectacles.

Only because Everton and Burnley had games in hand.

23 points from 26 games, and refused to change a damn thing.

Didn't realise you come on here for fun.

Perhaps you'd like the number for the Samaritans in that case ?

All season isn’t fair. I also said it was time for change and even started the sacked thread a day or two before he was.

I then posted how I regretted him being sacked and how it ended saddened me, I wish we’d have kept him and see how it unfolded, I held my hand up long ago on that one.

I also said many times if we went down, Bielsa would be the best man to get us straight back up, you’ll also find that since his sacking I’ve not gone back there constantly blaming him.

My opinion is he is a huge part to blame for his own dismissal.

In regards to Marsch I fear he is seriously out of his depth, I can’t warm to him, I don’t believe he is the right man for the job

Whilst that is true to some extent, and just from an observational point of view I felt Llorente has been poor this season, the stats suggests that he has had a positive influence in the two seasons he has been here.

I'm at my folks at present so can't recall the exact details, but I would say of the 10 games Llorente has missed this season 6 of those the result probably would be the same. However he missed the home draw with Everton, the home defeat to West Ham, the away draw with Newcastle and the recent away defeat to Leicester. Those are four games where most on here would say we deserved to get something more than we actually got.

Yes last season it seemed we’d got someone as good if not better than Ben White. This season I think he’s been awful. Too injury prone for me too, if we stay up we need someone better, if we go down he’ll feel his too good so I’m hoping his last season either way. I’d maybe make an exception if he played more games and spent less time on the treatment table

risty you’re absolutely entitled to your opinion … my recollection is (like many.. and understandably - as we’ve been poor) you weren’t happy with performances, weren’t happy with selections, weren’t happy with his stubbornness, weren’t happy with anything and wanted him out.

Then the minute he’s gone, like the ex-girlfriend, you’re full of remorse and the new girlfriend is a b!tch.

I get all that, but comments like bielsa’s Leeds would have beaten Southampton and palace? Just unsubstantiated rhetoric. By the end bielsa’s side were shot, they couldn’t beat an egg. Which is why you wanted him gone, remember.

That’s the opposite side of the the same coin. You don’t know that Bielsa wouldn’t have matched the results of JM against the same sides or bettered them. Going on his past with us since Bielsa joined, it’s very likely he would have done.

You originally said I wanted him out all season, that’s wrong. Even when I felt it was time for change I never forgot for a moment what he achieved the three seasons prior both on the field and off.

I just think it’s wrong Jesse shooting his mouth off and criticising Bielsa and now Hay picking him to pieces. I’m balancing it out with a view that maybe we’d have more points now on the board.

If we get relegated it will be Jesse who took us down, we’ll never know if Bielsa would have.

you’re right it would be ridiculous to make a statement that suggested he couldn’t turn it around. And I never have done. I was responding to ristac’s statement saying he would have won those games. I think it’s entirely possible… but what makes it less likely is our form and the manner of our defeats.
