Morning, team. Nothing fo me today.
Have been looking though at the Goffs sale later in the month -
https://www.goffsuk.com/sales-results/sales/spring-hit-ptp-sale-2022. A wodge of lots come from Seven Barrows (12) including both The Lieutenant's runners in the 3.00 at Market Rasen of the morrow.
Also loads entered in the sale from the yards of both Mr Nicholls and Alan King. Meanwhile, am guessing the headline lot is that old fave, If The Cap Fits from the Fry barn.
Meanwhile, if anyone wants any free bloodstock advice the most interesting one for me would be Alan King's
Robiola. This 4YO was deemed borderline 'reincarnation of Pegasus' at one stage but after 2 highly promising bumper runs his form, thereafter, rather fell off the old cliff. Even so am somewhat surprised the Munir / Souede axis are opting to sell. Rejuvenation possible and all that...
Also a nicely bred sort as the dam is a half-sister to 4 black type performers on the Flat and also Hoo La Baloo who won 10 times over hurdles and fences (including at Grade 2 level).
He also has options as well as Robiola doesn't have to remain over hurdles. New connections could, possibly, explore a Flat career.
Robiola is the sort who could go for an awful lot or next to nothing such are the uncertainties of racehorse purchasing. That, I guess, makes his sale all the more intriguing!!!
Anyway, I've waffled on somewhat (but this is a sale to closely look out for, people) so will end by saying - good luck all.
