They wouldn't roll over anyway. I don't think the circumstances make the game any harder, tbh. They'll be dangerous, but so will we.
Huge game now. City will look to react angrily v Newcastle who might get beasted but at least we can apply pressure the day before and maybe a city player over rearcs to joelinton? I saw a few spurs fans who think they will lose cos this is at anfield and they never do well at ours.
Get the win and you never know, City could feel the pressure now that they only have the league left.
Few years back when they got knocked out by Tottenham, they just went on to win every game and close out the season. Additionally, they play ****ing Newcastle at home
No telling how it will affect them mentally. Could help or hinder them. Hopefully the latter but won't count on it.
Tbf they are used to being in this position of being eliminated with still the league to play for I didn’t see them slipping up before Imho nothing has changed I do think they are building quite a psychological barrier in the CL but I still see them as favourites for next season
It's brilliant really, WE are Favourite for the CL next season our record in recent times blows anyone else away.
Could go either way, it'll be interesting to see how they deal with the disappointment and whether such a collapse undermines their self-confidence.
There have been far better Real sides than this one, but obviously they'll be no pushovers. Their success this time has been down to tenacity rather than dominance. We should be able to rip through that defence, but Vinicius will be a danger down their left. Trent might have to concentrate on his defending more than he would like.
MO Salah has got his wish to play Real Madrid in the final, the ball now in his court to put in performances from now till the end of football season.
Maybe Real Madrid was Salah's preference because he wants to join them in the summer; chances to impress
