ferrari went back to their usual 5th 6th positions in fp3, 5 tenths of 4th place man, little odd after their pace in fp2.
wtf is anyone suffering with the qual time tower being more central instead of being more to the left lol
Whats going on Jenson? Your not going to get out of Q2 if you do that. Your slower than Petrov let alone the guys at the front. I voted for you hurry up!
Does Ricciardo get a penalty for his gearbox change? If not well done. If so, well done anyway! Same to Karthikeyan
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/95748 There's a demonstration of how important HRT are then
Jenson confirmed he was in the yellow sector. Said he backed off, but you have to lift through the corners there anyway so hard to prove/deny. So, what do the stewards do now as he set his fastest sector time through that zone? Jordan has now said it was the wrong light being shown, but how did Jenson know there was not a further incident around the next corner?
Heres a chance for the stewards to show some consistency, we shall see. Personally i think jenson lifted but personal best in sector 3 doesnt look good.
Found the reason for Webber's start improvement in the last few races. He's now using a start system similar to what he used last year. Hopefully we'll see it tomorrow. We thought the dirty side at the Korean GP would really stop some people in their tracks but it didn't, it was pretty equal on both sides of the track. Wonder if we'll see the same thing here?
Button lifted so should not be punished. His middle sector time where the accident happened was a 22.9 which was slow, he did a 22.7 in FP3.
Does anyone know what the grid will look like tomorrow? There's been a fair few penalties handed out, so I haven't got a clue.
Is 2/10th's off your fastest sector time in the weekend sufficient to show you backed off? That time difference could have been lost up on any corner in that sector. What is the actual speed difference of 2/10th's? a few mph at most? Question is, was that his fastest sector in Quali and that session in particular. If yes, hard to show he backed off.
Unbelievable. Alguersuari (Q2): 1:26.319 Petrov (Q2): 1:26.319 They had to go down to a tenth of a thousandth of a second to find out who went faster!
It was in the Session, but he had not done a proper lap yet. Was the crash in Sector 2 or 3? Button loses a lot of time compared to everyone else in the second, but is right on the pace in the third.
The McLaren's have both been slow in sector 2. Red Bull seemed to be awesome through that sector. But Jenson's quali time was his fastest of the weekend. If Hamilton was penalised for putting his fastest lap in under yellows, surely the same applies here?
Yes but Q3 time were much faster than FP3 times, Vettel's and Alonso's sector 2 times in Q3 were 5/10ths quicker than their sector 2 times in FP3. So Button really could of been about 7/10ths slower than his fastest sector.
