Well… that first half was atrocious. But fair play to the lads. Came out second half and put in a performance. Helped somewhat by Villareal almost trying to play the game out for ET. Did say it was dangerous scoreline 2-0… see it a lot where team have nothing to play for. Suddenly gets back to 2-2 and the pressure of actually being able to go through comes back and they seemed to freeze. Think our experience showed in that second half and everyone stepped up. Unlucky for Jota being the one having to have to go off for it, I think could have been a number of them and a Keita was very lucky to be out there Great mentality to come out and not only get back into the game but go on and win it. CL final number 3!!! Paris here we come!
Next to Diaz he’s looking like old man Salah right now. I know what you are saying but do you not think forwards go through these patches ? Jota looks like he may be having a confidence crisis atm but like you say Diaz playing well do you think if we had started with Diaz it would have been different? I think blue potatoe could have been right lol All planned Lull them into thinking they had it

Easy to say with hindsight, but I wasn't overly concerned at HT - we'd been dire but I knew we would improve.
