Obviousky it’s not a life threatening injury, but it’s about sportsmanship Have you actually seen the scenario that I’m talking about? The ball went out of play for a Fulham throw they took it attacked, went back to their cb then attacked again and scored all while guy was sat on the floor. Has he not done his hamstring he’s have set up an attack for Luton. Im saying in most scenarios following a tackle etc it’s hard to work out how injured someone is, and playing on I think is only real fair way, but then the guy with the ball is clearly injured and the other team win the ball because he can’t chase after it after trying to go past a player and the ball rolling out for a throw, it’s really poor from Fulham to not knock the ball out, or just stop the throw being taken until he can get treatment and be subbed off. Luton we’re not only punished for having to play with 10 men, but also lost the ball and an attacking counter attack through an injury,
it doesn't matter if he is or he isn't the rule has been made clear to all teams for over 2 seasons now. play on til ref stops game. the ref didn't stop the game. imo its not poor it's just playing on. everton did this to us last week. the ref stopped the game with richarilson clearly faking head injury. he only stopped it cos we got it. they didn't give it back, they went and passed the "drop ball back to themselves" when they go down and put ball out second half, we throw it back to them. who's the idiots there? its perfectly clear to me that the rules are now that we don't play the faux handshake game, we don't kick ball out for floppers and the ref has to stop the game. then its fair for all. blame the ref not fulham IMO i'd be more irate about coleman going in trying to get azpi put off than fulham playing on if we want to talk sportsmanship. refs should cotton onto this and be watching everton next game and throw a red at the first sign of this
I'm finding looking at the current table very frustrating, not because of any teams positions but because of the uneven amounts of games played by each team. Some have 3 left, some 4, Everton, Villa and Leicester have 5 Man U have 2 Very uneven, not good enough, I like symmetry.
Is it just me absolutely dreading playing and/or losing to city in the cl final? (should we go through) Cant stand the thought of them beating us to get their first cl trophy. I do believe they will be favourites if we do meet in the final. Whats everyone's thoughts about that?
I think Real will win the CL. Just seems to be the "story" that's building, especially Re Benzema. They don't need to be the best, just to do enough. Can see Chelsea, possibly even Kepa, getting redemption in the FA Cup. And I can't see Man City dropping points in the league. So yeah, I'm optimistic
Putin controls the media inside Russia. Many Russians probably don't know what's going on. When they see themselves being kicked out of sporting events they will get the idea that they are the pariah state here, not Ukraine. Anything that weakens Putin's grip over the Russian people and potentially saves lives is a good thing IMO.
Real Madrid won't be easy if we face them. Fortunately it would be the last game of the season, so our players would have a few months to recover from all the injuries playing Madrid almost guarantees. It will be a different game than City. Probably not much easier if at all... But it won't be playing City yet again. We've played City far too many times.
real madrid are managed by anchelotti. theres no hackers left, just a guy who knows who to manage klopp but a side with a lot of aged legs. City have the pace to do for us and they proved in league they could. however they are also a side that can be got at if you do it right. we are liverpool let them fear us.
We drew 2-2 to City at their place after they played us off the park for 45 mins. We weren't great but still did enough to trouble them massively. In a cup final, at a neutral venue, I'm confident we can do them. But make no mistakes, I am still **** scared of them. Real - on paper, City and Us should be wiping the floor with them. But they have some stronghold on the CL where they can conjure up magic out of nowhere.
The CL Is the one I'm pinning my hopes on tbh. I don't think we'll win the league and I reckon Chelsea will take us to penalties in the FA Cup I.e. I think it'll be a toss of a coin. Let's get the job done tonight
