I love the way Boris and co can pull £37bn out of their arses to pay for a useless track and trace system, but they cant find £20 per week to help out society's poorest. I do think we should be supporting Ukraine, but it's another example of when the govt think the cause is just, they will throw unaccountable amounts of £££££ at it. The money is always there, because it's simply a concept. It's the political will that is the real currency
Nah not for me fella. The world is armed with nukes, that should be enough to deter either side. Invading another country (who voluntarily gave up their nukes on the basis of creating peace in the region) is a cowardly move imo.

The problem here is Putin is old and also probably ill, he has thoughts of Russia's past majestic grandeur, he personally has absolutely nothing to lose. We all have to face the prospect of death at some point in our life, I believe he is facing his and therefore there is no accountability for his actions in this life. There lays your problems with Nuclear Weapons and one man at the button.
Human beings commit crimes and atrocities all the time, I very much doubt few of them thought about the consequences of their actions on their family. If only life were that simple. Hey, Putin, you invade Ukraine, we will kill your family.....hmmm, guess that didn't work.
