but I hope we put in a performance we can be proud of by the way Albert, another great . keep up the good work always plenty of information
I don't want Liverpool winning the league so I'm with you on this. The Bruce fan boys will be out in force if we don't beat his points tally from last season. Hopefully we can get another 4 points minimum in the last 2 games.
Hope we stuff them and then win our last two games. Would rather City win the league but not by us losing. Don't get this attitude that would rather see us lose so that Burnley don't get relegated. I will eat @JokeInEre's hat if we do beat City but I can still hope.
Nufc season is done it's just going to be a far bigger event if Burnley win at Evertons expense. It's almost perverse in it's nature.
To you maybe. With the close points positions of the teams from 9-14th losing the final game could cost the club up to £10million quid. Seems a strange attitude to want your own club to suffer so that a particular one gets relegated.
We saw vs Liverpool that we can't handle a fast pressing team right now, ok it only 1-0 but they were clearly way ahead of us even with key players missing. Sadly the same vs City, they are crushing teams for fun right now, and we ain't gonna be an exception.
Yeah we haven't got a chance in this game and this isn't a reverse. It's just beyond the limits of our sides ability as was Liverpool and even Tottenham.
4-0 City me thinks. This might be the weekend the title is decided. Spurs are playing well and fighting for fourth atm so a point would be a good result for them vs Liverpool.
Top 2 are miles ahead of everyone else and anything other than a win for both of them every week is a big shock. Tottenham game was interesting cos we were definitely equal to them in the first half but then fell apart in the second; they've clearly got the talent, but sometimes their attitude seems to be a bit off (like when they lost to Burnley), whereas Liverpool and City are totally focused every game. Although I'm sure we'll lose, the key thing in this game is to compare the perfomance and attitude against the 0-4 **** show at SJP in December. Thankfully we dont have Ciaran Clark im the team who opener the floodgates and got us losing practically from kick off with that hideous error, or Hayden who annihilated in midfield. They're obviously ahead of us, but this game should be interesting to see how we've changed vs December.
Can't stand bin dippers winning the league, so **** them. I reckon it will be similar to the previous one, City to dominate and we'll pose no threat going forward.. 1-0 to City.
The key thing to consider will be the difference in perfomance. Ie vs Spurs at SJP they outclassed us in thr first half and were 1-3 and just sat back and kept us at bay in the second. We got a fluky own goal right at the end to make the score look close, when in reality it was nothing of the sort. The 5-1 was a far worse result but at least we made an effort and went at them from the off.
Tbh I'm not going to read anything into the defeat much like Liverpool. It's clear we can now compete in games vs sides outside the top 6, but that we're miles away from competing in games vs them. I find myself more interested in Leeds Burnley and Everton matches now while I away the summer transfer window.
